​​Let's get acquainted with our primary instrument, the body, in a one of a kind movement & mindfulness journey led by theater maker, choreographer and world traveler Akim Funk Buddha. Children will practice core balance, spatial awareness, teamwork and emotional intelligence through obstacle courses and other activities that connect creative play with executive functioning skills - from dodging swinging rice bags to building towers to passing rhythm with a rain stick and other storied objects.

Please pack nut-free lunch/snack and water,

clothing for movement and weather.

Format:

9:45-10am arrival & circle up

10-10:45am - workshop part 1

10:45am-11:10 - lunch break

11:10-11:55am - workshop part 2

11:55-12pm - circle up & dismissal

 

Single drop-in rate: $40
