INSTRUMENT LAB
Instrument Labs are action-packed private and small group lessons with a philosophy that young children need exposure to a world of possibility in music. We are all too familiar with the old saying: "you either have it or you don't." To that I say: no more pigeon-holing musical aptitude. These curiosity-led classes will have your child inspired and feeling like music-making is their oyster. Using piano as our primary technical and theory instrument, students may branch out to drum kit, amplified instruments, accordions and more to incorporate a layered understanding of rhythm, timbre, dynamics, harmony and improvisation.
Students will leave each week hungry for more!
In our small group classes and 2-hour workshops students are challenged and inspired to consider further ensemble and production elements from sound setup, to lighting, to narrative elements like props and costumes.
